I am delighted to announce that The Memoir Garden is now available to purchase from Waterstones in Berkhamsted, The Papertrail in Apsley, and Sunnyside’s Hemel Food Garden on Two Waters Lane. All proceeds will go to Sunnyside Rural Trust – a social enterprise that trains adults with learning disabilities to work in horticulture. It is also available to borrow from Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted libraries. You can find out more about the project by visiting the displays at The Papertrail and at all Dacorum libraries. It is especially gratifying to see local organisations and companies doing their bit to distribute the book so that readers of all kinds can get a glimpse of the rich, complex, and varied stories of adults with learning disabilities.
