Emma Claire Sweeney is delighted to help launch City Writes tonight at City, University of London. She will be reading from Owl Song at Dawn, and is looking forward to being joined by short story competition winners Evleen Mann, Lesley Jones, Eileen Church Riley, C. G. Menon. It is a particular honour to share a stage with one of her own former students.
City Writes is an exciting new event created to showcase the best of City’s Short Courses Creative Writing talent. Readers are chosen from a short story competition open to all current and alumni students of City Short Creative Writing Courses. These competition winners share the stage with a professional author from City’s alumni and/or teaching body.
